Laptops compaq or lenovo

try getting DELL, but if your choice strictly is restricted to the 2 you have mentioned, then i'd say, go with compaq.

Hi,

The answer is no.
Performance wise SONY laptops are ahead of DELL since, Processor that comes along with SONY has good cache memory and decenty clocked than DELL. DELL dont have that option even in their customization list.

Clear your concepts before posting ... Mostly all the laptops these days provide Intel Core 2 Duo T52XX series so if your laptop has that and other has same there should not be much difference..Sony laptops are over priced I just don't know why .. You can get the same config in Dell and still you will save 10k I guess. just check Inspiron and vaio pricing and their specs.. :| Apart from these Del provide you to configure your own laptop. while none of the laptop vendors in India provide these options.. Dell deal directly so you will save more money as Vendors charge a bit more than the mentioned price :P
If you want a performance beast get the Dell XPS M1310 series :) else Inspiron 152 HD will be gr8 option.. BEST VFM :ohyeah:

U could get Dell but between the two Compaq wins hands down!!!!, better VFM than lenevo also better product on the whole, have seen 4 compaq laps in two years in my family and couldn't find any faults!!!!:hap2: :hap2:

Are the prices within your range? Or is there any other reason for not wanting the core 2 duos?
