The PSU is the culprit alright. As I said, I had the same problems with my ColorsIT 400W. After changing the PSU, no problems at all.

The thing you guys dont seem to understand is that I can't check any voltage because the freeken computer doesnt turn on. First I need to buy the PSU and I'm asking you guys what brand and how many W's u recommend....

well I got a Antec Neo HE 550-Watt hooked it up and everything is seems working fine. Now I got some questions... First of all is 550 Watts enought for me? is Antec Neo HE 550 good?? And what propgrams can I use to check all the voltage and stuff and paste a screenshoot hereso u can tell me if all is runnung good???

NEO HE 550w is more than enough of for your system. Its one of the best PSU available in Antec, no doubt about it. Use everest Home edition, use DMM as they give the correct reading. Anyways with NEO HE 550W everything should be fine, no need to worry about anything:).

I think your motherboard sensor is well screwed up, 12v rails is too low, better you use DMM and check the Volts.

ok if the light is on
there are a few things that can go wrong...

1 check the buttons and see if they are gettin stuck.. the power and rst.

2 check the wiring..

3 if u have another psu give it a shot....
also if possible can we have ur hw specs.

hw specs meanin howmany drives and wat board wat gfx card etc..
generally to have an idea about ur power requirements.

Ok well the specs are.....

ECS 915P-A mobo
3.2 Intel-Prescott
EVGA GeForce 7900 GT CO 256Mb
Soundblaster Audigy SE
52x CD/CD-R
16x DVD
80 Gig Westerndigital SATA
1 normal fan
2 fans with build in lights
2 neons on front of the box

And if you didnt know I got the Antec Neo HE 550-Wat as my Power output

ok here is another thing. Is it possible that the 12v is caused because my mobo only has the 4 pin switch and the PSu has 2 that r divided 4 times 2 so I can only plug in 1 part..... plus I connect the 24 pin maybe I should try it with 20 pin??????????
