Computer restarting on shutdown

I am using xp. When I go to shutdown the computer, it just restarts everytime. Can anyone solve this issue?

Right Click My computer,go to properties.The under the advanced tab click Settings under Startup and Recovery.Under System Failure, view the Automatically restart check box. If the Automatically restart check box is selected, Windows automatically restarts if the computer stops unexpectedly.

and if tahts not the problem check the start button of your cabinet if your having an ATX cabinet
