PC Peripherals Config help !!! budget 25K

Buying a new comp with budget limit of 25k ( strict :p )

without monitor and speakers

looking for core2duo based rig

2 gb ram preferred.

and if possible a cheap gfx card.
 
Here's what you could get,

C2d e4300 - 5000

Msi p965 neo - 5k

Ram 2x1gb kingston 667 mhz - Rs 4300

WD/Sgt 160gb hdd - 2800

Power supply 400w + Cabby - Rs 1500

Optical drive - Liteon 20x dvd rw sata- Rs 1900

All this comes to about 20,500

In the remaining 5k you could get a 8500gt which is a dx10 capable card.

Try spending in better PSU and Cabby for future proof system :)
 
is 8500 gt available in India?

and also is there a motherboard for e4300 with decent on board graphics like nvidia 6100

I bought it (MSI P965 Neo2) myself for 5200 5 days back. Check at SMC and CE at Nehru Place Delhi. You might get it for around 4900-5100 now.
 
strange , i went in 4 days back and that was the price i got from both place and a couple of more place in the ce lane. and the neo2 was not available any were only the neo. i guess its the demand and supply game.
 
No choice Get XFX 650i sli the best VFM in Mobo and a gr8 Oc just pimp the E4300 or 4400 to it and wil OC to max.. Get it :D XFX 650i Sli :eek:hyeah:
 
ya on stock cooler get a easy 2.4 without any problems :). look at my rig though i got the asus p5ne din have the xfx option tht day
 
dudes no overclocking in this rig its not for me :(

so just need a motherboard with decent onboard graphics so that it can be upgraded with Dx10 card when the prices fall down.

hw are onboard graphics on xfx650 ultra?
 
then i dont think i will be getting xfx 650 ultra.

if you are particular you wont be over clocking at all, then get a AMD 4800x2 for 6.5k + gigabyte 690g based mobo or jetway one for 3.5k - 10 k and bang.

the 4800x2 will be as good as e4300 in terms of performance on stock infact a notch above with reference to xbit labs reviews and you will have on board graphics also.
 
Then get yourself Intel DG965RY with onboard graphics Intel X3000 the latest from Intel or get AMD X2 3600+ + 690 G board supporting X1250 GPU bettter than X3000 :D

WHy spend 5.5k get X2 + 690G board with better Onboard GPU than 965 board and it wont cross 5k even if you get Biostar in black :rofl: :p
 
hw is the gaming performance of this onboard gfx on intel DG965RY.

gaming mostly at 1024 X 768 and say low to medium settings in AOE 3 etc type of games.

No fast FPS games.
