Well if you afford it, the P5NE as its a better chipset at the same price range of 965 based decent mobos.
I am not so sure about the C2D stuff- i was just cost-cutting when i said 4300+MSI P65 and it seriously ain't bad as a stock performer or even with OK OC coz one of my good friends had a 6300 with MSI P65 with a decent 24x7 OC on it.

Others who have C2D rigs are beter off advising.:cool2:
Looking at the requirements of this guy- i would have actually recommended the config Aditya is building on a very "TIGHT' budget (and maybe an X23800 instead of the 3600 if he wants)- if he hadn't already mentioned his interest in C2D - And 8800GTS 320 to complement it instead of the 8600GT..

hyeah:
Edit:
He did mention 'mostly gaming' after all.
Stumped eh... Bikey is the official TE NooB my friend.
Edit2:
Thanks 'theX'- 3800 kicked out- the brissy 3600 OCes so easily to 2.47G and doesnt even demand a aftermarket cooler.

A mobo and cpu for the price of a decent C2D mobo- and if one has to OC- a cheaper combo is relatively riskfree.
And even with a bloody cpu bottleneck the 8800GTS should perform wonderfully i think- i need clarifiation on this.:ashamed:
Coz then i plan to do the same for my friend.
