So guys here it goes .. i am confused b/w these 3 lappys after lot of research ..

Dell studio 15 = t6400 , 4gb ram , 500gbHDD , 256mb aTi 4570

pavilion dv6 1110 = AMD Turion X2 RM-75 ( 2.2ghz ) 4Gb , 320 GB BUT aTi HD4650 I GB :hap2:
Price :-

Acer = 41500.
Studio 15 = 48000.

But i have heard that it is having some overheating issues , and That turion proccy is not that good ? :S
Yes , processor wise 6400 is better , but i guess the GFX card is more important (?) . There was also some Acer model (5738 i think) which comes with 9600GT and T6400 for ~ 40k

Turion is not as energy efficient as C2D and maybe (and just maybe) heats a bit more. But it will surely be a gr8 lappy. I own a turion single core lappy. Its still running great.

If you are gaming then while on batteries it will give the same backup. But my suggestion wud be to buy atleast 3 years of warranty on any of the laptops you buy. Gaming will require max performance from the machine so it will be running at max setting most of the time. better buy that additional warranty even if u have to compromise on features and specs a bit.

if your main purpose is gaming, then why don't you go for a desktop rather than a laptop?

I already have a desktop dude , i want a lappy now ..

anyways i asked the hp Dealer he said AMD had heating issued earlier , but now there is nothing like that..

i am getting it for 47k ... is this price ok ?

and getting a Tata photon too :cool2:

Dell laptops look cool and nice on the website and photos only :ashamed:

I was shocked when i saw Studio 15 today in real :ashamed:

Its no way near HP in looks

I am currently in a similar situation: pavilion dv6 1110 vs studio 15

only different thing is i will use it for programming in visual studio mostly and occasional gaming. plus i need the extra storage space in the studio 15. hence i have decide to go for it. (although i haven't made it final yet)

what do u guys think?

HP is the best amongst the three mentioned in terms of build quality and support. They also have a wide range of products so you don’t need to worry about replacements with warranty. Also, the dv6 is a great ultra-portable. It is of the right size and the right power. Go for that.

It already seems like you have made up your mind on HP! :) BTW I don't know why you are getting just 256MB card with Studio 15. Check again. It's 512 MB HD 4570 now.

Also, I am pretty sure about the heating issues with the HP dv6 1110ax. Two of my friends have that and when we play CS in multiplayer (total 6 of us out of which 4 are studios and two are HP's) it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to play on their laps. Now how can it be called a laptop then ;)

The build quality and support of HP is not too good nowadays.

Lots of users are having problems and the service centres are taking a lot of time to fix them.
