Confusion between XBox and PS3

i just came out to buy Xbox 360s elite... But just had at glance of PS3 with move.... Now im back to confusion which one choose b/w both....
oh dam sh!t.. I hate this feeling that I may choose one console which I may regret later...

Looking for a console
1)which can last atleast 5 yrs
2)A console which can be moded after warranty (clearly xbox)
3)blue ray player is not a big advantage.
4)cheaper game titles.
Mostly I would love to play action and some 2player games (like the legendary mortal kombat for PC)
I beleive Xbox is right option for me... Also if I get the 4gb model with kinect ,will I be able to add bigger HDD to that..
Pls post your views...
 
I say go for PS3 cos of exclusives ... almost all of Xbox titles are available for PC ... only halo and gears of war are 2 most wanted ones which are exclusive to xbox :( ... as for other games u can even get for ps3 ... so ps3 .. yea
 
i was also confused between xbox n PS3 but i finally bought PS3 and dude after playing on PS3 you will forget xbox forever..... Go for PS3 IMO....
 
I bought my ps3 yesterday from croma at bandra in bombay ... it had 3.41 firmware .. 320gb one ..
 
tested both kinect and move... Both are good.... To be frank kinect is more fun.....there is 5 %discount in croma on mastercard.... I deceided to take ps3 ... The guy went and said they r out of stock right now... And there is no discount for sony products alone. Frustrated to the core.
 
^^ Kinect lags man and ps move is even worse... but the price of move is gud but kinect for 10k is really not worth...

@OP:- I am using both modded and jailbroken ps3, I will say if u want simplicity than go for xbox 360... and if u want a jailbroken ps3 than it has some complexity regarding how to put games on the internal hdd and external hdd and install packages with can sometimes become a headache to people who are not used to it..

For you I would suggest Xbox 360 Arcade(fat).

just went to Sony Showroom and got PS3 + move bundle. :clap:

played few demo that comes with the bundle... i would say it's quite an experience ,fun and awesome too..

i have both Kinect and move both r good
Kinect::
+Kinect is more fun and its only 10k (kinect+game)
+ u can use kincet on ur pc there r lot of hacks aviable there on net
-but kinect need good place to play
-games as of now are not that good for core gammers

move:
-but move is good but not that fun and move costs more ie is if u want compete set up (5149.00 for Move Starter Pack +some game )+ 2800 (but for some game u will need 2)+ 2800 (if u want to play with friends )+2000 * 2 (for navigation controllers )
+good games line up
+with small update sony can release all old games for move (this is the why i bought it but till now only HR and RE5 came out HR was good but RE5 is creap with move)

I have no broblen in PAYING 10 k for kinect (it is new tech )
but for move i feel its priced very high because the tech is already there with sony for long time

u bought PS3 and after playing u say forget Xbox forevr... am I missing something or is it OBVIOUS u have NEVER PLAYED on XBOX cuz after u play on it, u'll forget PS3 forevr.
 
People who are getting PS3 with the hopes of JB must think that the JB hack is not permanent and at any point it could stop.
