PC Peripherals Confusion on RMA service of accel frontline

Few months ago i had my old seagate hdd rma'ed at andheri east branch of accel frontline office

After that i had heard that we need to register ourselves in order to have a rma - is it true ?
If yes whats the procedure ??

my kingston 2gb ddr2 ram is dead and i have to give it for rma at the same office next week - so need some information before going there

register to generate a customer ID and walk-in to the service centre . call registration is optional

i am unable to generate a customer id after selecting kingston

Only seagate rma needs registration I think.
