Connecting 2 speakers to single PC

My friend have a creative SBS 2.1 Speakers and Logitech 2.1 speakers. He want to use both the systems on a single PC. Is there any way he can do that?? Can a Y 3.5mm splitter can be used for this purpose and what will be the pros and cons of this??
Is there any other better way than this??

Use a 3.5mm splitter if he wants to.

3.5 mm splitter is good
or you can connect one at the back and one at the front of your cabinet, if your motherboard
does not MUTE rear line out when front is plugged in.

the 3.5" splitter will be the better choice. Its will be easier to setup

Yup..i did the same for a intext 4.1 + Creative SBS just to irritate my roomie with the bass (payback for his late nigh coochie coo with his gf)

investment..a mere 35 bucks at a local aduio store.
