Connecting my samsung galxy pop thru wifi

Hi

I am using Galaxy Pop and I want to use the internet services like mail, or chat thru wifi ( am using Dell laptop and broadband connection is airtel). My question is when my laptop is connected to thru airtel connection, is it possible to use the wifi in laptop for my mobile. how to do it?
