Console Suggestion for Local Co-Op / Splitscreen

Hi, I need a device to entertain my guests. I'm looking for console suggestions for couch co-op / split-screen games where 3 or 4 players can play simultaneously. I have previously played Overcooked and Trine in a local co-op on PC. I'm open to any console (new or ancient like Wii) or can also set up a PC if that has the best library option for it. I'll also need 4 controllers for the same, so please suggest those too. Thank you!
 
PC is your best bet, especially if you already have a decent gaming rig. It’s cost-effective, highly versatile, and supports emulation for retro consoles like the Wii (via Dolphin Emulator), original Xbox (via Xemu), and PlayStation (via RPCS3). Nearly every modern game releases on PC, making it the go-to platform for flexibility and longevity. For controllers, try affordable ones like Cosmic Byte Blitz with Hall-effect joysticks or EvoFox Elite X. Or some high-ends. If your priority is the library, pc gaming wins hands down, especially with emulation possibilities like @Dhanush mentioned above.
But if you're a plug and play kind of guy, with your guests mostly kids.. then you may also consider the Nintendo switch.
Do note that Nintendo gives no official support in india.

I feel getting a Nintendo Switch OLED is your best bet.

Since you have no budget restrictions, just get a OLED (possibly second-hand at around 16-18K INR) and get a second joy-con. Each joy-con has two parts which can be used sideways for two players, so two joy-cons will be sufficient for 4 players. And the Switch is full of Nintendo's party games: Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash Bros, 1-2 Switch, Warioware, Mario Maker 2, Mario Luigi Brothership, ARMS, and Snipperclips (just to name a few) - all of which can provide you hours and hours of gameplay.
