I am creating a content management system as my final year project. I wanna know how creating new pages, whenever a user wants to, work.

for asp.net + mssql platform, try dotnetnuke. its a port of phpnuke originally written for php + mysql environment.

i dont think there are enough CMS available for .net platform.

why create new pages on the fly?

Why not just create placeholders for the content and fetch and bind the contents to the placeholders?
