Controllers for pc

Hi guys!

I wanna go in for a good game controller either that of the xbox or ps3's that works for the pc. I don't own any consoles. I am just looking for the controller. Do any of the two controllers work for the pc? If so, what could be their estimated cost? It would be nice if someone could suggest other controllers as well.

go for xbox 360 controller for pc itz the best u can get, i own one and in mumbai u can get a new one for 1k without bill.
