PC Peripherals Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus or Corsair TX650W

Vijayallenraj, these are my suggestions:

Get i3 if it is already available, gigabyte motherboard, Dell LCD, Sapphire Radeon 5850 and VX550 PSU, Antec 300 OR NZXT Gamma gaming chassis, MX518 gaming mouse, QCK M size gaming pad, No need to get after market cpu cooler, SLI/CF enabled motherboard, u won't need it :cool2:

2 *2GB Kingston DDR3 Ram - 4800

Samsung P2350 24" Monitor - 11000

Samsung SATA 22x DVD RW - 1100

Logitech Keyboard + Mouse - 610

ATI Radeon HD 5850:

600VA UPS - 1400

Cooler Master 650W extreme power plus PSU - 4000 or Corsair TX650W

Question is which PSU should I go for? Am confused since the corsair is costlier at 6800 bucks.

I did think about going for the Gigabyte motherboard. But the MSI one is cheaper and offers one touch overclock ability and also sli and crossfire. I am not planning to invest too much into the gaming pad and the mouse, but I will think about it in the future. I just dont want my costs to go up above 70-72k with the current setup. The Saphire radeon is a tad costlier at 18k, but i can go for an msi one at 16k, that is as far as i can push. Also if sli and crossfire are something that i use in the future then I would need a 650tx. Right now you are right I dont need sli and crossfire, but you never know, I might just go for it 3 months down the line:)

asingh, I enquired about the 5870 and I know that it is a beast, but its around 30k and thats just too much:). I'd rather add one more 5850 6 months down the line for a cheaper rate and yet have a good system. And spend 2k on a cooler.

Sounds like a good plan. I did the same when I set up my system. Got a TX650 and one HD4890. 2 Weeks later put in another HD4890.

Happy gaming.

okay guys one more Q:

For the corsair 650W which ups can I buy. also the case CM 690 is about 4.3k, thats what golcha told me. Is there anything cheaper but better or atleast good enough?

Also is the Intex 800va ups good? I am thinking of apc but its costlier...

I also saw a thread for pfc in a psu etc., Is there a ups with pure sine wave output but not as costly as a apc?..

I am going for a 5850, I have Athlon2 X4 620 + Gigabyte MA785G US2H + 4GB RAM

I have CM 600 PCAR. I know not the most trusted around. But it's been faithful for over 15 months now.

My doubt, will the PSU be able to pull off the 5850?

I got a 1xODD, 3xHDD (160, 250, 1000 all seagate)
