which is the best cooler around 1k

my laptop model is ACER 5740G

Just a heads up don't go for the Notepal U series, if you want 'aggressive' cooling. I have the NotePal U3 and a Dell Vostro 3700 (17.3"). The maximum fan speed is pretty low and Its a more elegant stand than a cooling device. Notice barely a few degrees lower temperatures, that too when the system is under load. When it is under load dont expect things to be cooler than more than 2 degrees C
 
i need a coolingpad too for my HP DV4 (14 inches)

but i wanna make sure that does a coolingpad, having a normal fan, could actually cool down our laptop.
