Thanks pranks, I tried that. Lowest priced DECT 6.0 phone, with caller id and speaker phone, 7301 ( but which sellers are saying is not DECT 6.0!!). After that comes 6411, which is little expensive than 7301, but is clearly stated as DECT 6.0 phone.

Look wise, I think 7301 is much better.....

Do you think I should expand my search to non-panasonic models also?

I searched for some non-panasonic models.

There is one GE cordless phone with DECT technology. eBay India: GE Cordless Phone GE21900 Digital Cordless Telephone (item 300423151124 end time 11-May-2010 10:05:30 IST).

Anyone has any idea how GE phones are?

Also there are some good looking Siemens phone ( though they are non DECT phones)
