whts the core speed u getting in core 2 quad

im getting 1600

wht couldbe the reason as we all know tht the quad is supposed 2 run at 2.2ghz

^^its supposed to run at 2.4ghz

that is just speedstep doing its job

when the comp isnt under load, the multiplier becomes 6 so 266X6=1.6ghz

when loaded, the multiplier goes to 9 so it runs at 266X9=2.4ghz

just a power saving feature....nothing to be worried about
