CORSAIR - FALSE ADVERTISING. COMPLETELY LOST MY TRUST OVER CORSAIR.

Anyway, I will try using ATTO benchmark and see if it the same on SATA II and SATA III.

True..... it seems false advertising but then all the manufacturers must be using same technique to determine speeds...... So Corsair cant be singled out....

BTW...... Corsair has mentioned "Max Sequential Read/Write (using ATTO Disk Benchmark)" on every Force 3 and GT product so not its not misleading...... but still all manufacturers must use real-world application speeds displayed below, maybe using * or something.....

Can u do the ATTO test on both SATA 2 & 3 ports pls?? Atleast we can determine whether SATA 3 bandwidth is actually getting used...

There is no false advertising going on here.

You really need to read up on what you are talking about before mouthing off. Sandforce controllers have always been benchmarked on their performance with compressible data. Nothing new here.

I regret what I said. It was a little immature on my part to have mouthed off in a public forum :ashamed:

I hate to admit it but I am a little low on patience. Both in the research part and the 'after buying it' part.

Have taken the words back :)

I am happy with my drive. I will be answering your questions in a video review soon.

Here's a review of the same drive that I did... this is the another drive I bought for my Macbook Pro.
