Corsair H70 High-Performance Hydro CPU Cooler with my awesome Cooler Master HAF X...

Overclocked AMD Phenom II X6 1090T to 3.8 GHz. When Idle its Temp is "25 - 29 °C" & on Full Load using Prime95 Software it goes only 54 - 56 °C.

Very Very Cool & Quite.... :D

Thats actually quite sad considering the amount of money you blew on it .....

I'm on 3.4 Ghz (1.21v) and my processor idles at 47c and even at full load it is 59c on the stock cooler .... :lol:

Congrats.

put both the fans in opposite direction,currently it's setup in push/pull exhaust.

you should set them in push/pull intake.

your load temps will reduce by 4C - 5C.

Nah, its smart. Comparing 29/54 with 47/59! Way to lose your credibility.

An aftermarket cooler is always a worthy future-proof investment.

Its surely lot better than stock cooler, but a good air cooler could beat this score with ease. Ven X/D14/Baram II could beat it if paired with high performance push pull fan configs.

@OP

those radiators performs really well with a higher static pressure fans like delta AFB 1212HHE or Kaze ultra 3000. Try 2 of such fans in push pull, and you could easily bring down a good 10c in load temp.

Never liked those h50/h70 units personally but hey, this is the show-off section. If you're pimping your rig/ride/stuff, you should (as few colourful individuals say it) Show-"offing" :p

Whats wrong with the comparison ... ? I'm still in safe temperature zone :P

Anyways you misunderstand me. What I was trying to say is that it was sad that he spent nearly 5k just to get 400Mhz more and low idle temps (perhaps the Noctua D14 would've been better??). Of course, I do agree with you on the fact that having an aftermarket cooler is future-proof, no doubt about that :).

ohhh big sorry after on full load its Core Temp is 39°C only....... see Last pic

Core temp will always be around 10c-15c lower. The CPU temperature is still 55c ....
