Corsair had a meteoric rise in sales amongst pc enthusiasts due to it's superior quality. Many companies went out of market after they started offering lower quality products in order to capture mass market. If corsair continues doing this. it's end is near.

I have 2-3 corsair Pen Drives in my office whose rubber casing came off in no time.

I think you mean GS series...

Reduced warranty on pen drives is news to me... I didn't knew they had reduced it to 2 years only, when there are others who are giving atleast 5 years...

first corsair fumbles the cx series... anyone remember 430cx. it was fit to be labelled 360cx...:D

however 400cx was their saving grace..

next some incidences of using cheap elpida chips instead of micron on XMS2 rams

now this....

wat has happened to corsair??

I was considering Corsair in the first place. Now I have to rethink on my purchase.

Now it seems that it is best to recommend Seasonic/FSP/Xigmatek over corsair.

mutant urs is probably off the hook. only applies to vx and tx series bought after july 2010

I read on another forum that they have stopped making cx400 & replaced it with the inferior cx430 model, so if you buy cx400 now and have to RMA it later you will probably get a cx430 as replacement instead of cx400 , i think now SeaSonic S12II 430W Rs 2600 is a better choice

What is the point of apology when people have made a purchase of their inferior quality C series.. It becomes a loss for the consumer.

Not just that they are not pricing it cheaper than the non C series PSU's , at least that would justify the price.

it's not just an apology. they have clarified many things and said that the quality is not inferior.
