..my xms 2 ram died a few days ago... there is no service center in noida... so i had to take it all the way to kalkaji-delhi...

i took the stick to the service center hoping for an exchange ( remember 1 to 1 swap warranty )... going there i find out that it will take them more than a week to replace my ram module... this is worse than kingston/transcend RMA !!! so much for 1 to 1 swap...

they said that all the sticks will have to be sent to bangalore...

now... the sticks copper had tarnished in the open due to the humidity here... at first they refused to take the ram... upon much convincing - explaining... they agreed but said they werent sure if will be able to get it replaced... ( no questiones asked )

I was all stress-free buying corsair... owing to the 'no questions asked' policy... guess its all just a joke !!!

I uess its dependent on them having stocks of the same item in the center. same happened to me with an 8Gb pen drive in Pune. Had to wait 5 days.
 
.. its not stock dependent... i asked the guy... he said swap is ONLY for Bangalore customers.. coz their head off. is there !!!
 
Where is Phoenix :P ! Plz mail abt this to Corsair India Head. If they cant honor 1-1 swap warranty dealers here plz stop advertising that :@

oh just got two of these ....:no: hope i dont face any issues. ...
 
OT : btw.. the corsair voyager 8gb pendrives (non-GT) are slower than cheaper transcend & moser bayers....
i bought 8gb one from NP yesterday for 700 bucks... the maximum write speeds that i get are 7.4 MB/s (tera copy).. moserbayer one gives 10.8 Mb/s ... but HD tune shows minimum of 28 and max of 30 MB/s transfer rates... wonder how ?
 
Thats coz YOU are messing up your write and read speeds.

Write speeds are lower than read speeds. HDTune is showing you the CORRECT READ speeds while teracopy is showing you the write speeds.

Anyone facing a problem with Corsair India's warranty can call on Corsair's toll free Customer Care :

All RMA's should also be registered at that number. Once theis is done, you will be guided to take the faulty module to the nearest logistics partner - Kaizen Infoserve's Centre. Your replacement will be done as soon as possible. IF you still face any problems, you can regster a compplaint on the above number and the issue will be sorted out at the earliest.

thanks phoenix... but i had contacted their customer support via mail before going to the srvice center ... the didnt gave any such procedure....

@phoenix, How does that mean 1-1 swap? Even if the place doesn't have stock, it doesn't take 5 days to ship a item from one place to another.
 
That is what. It should not. If u inform the Corsair guys , they will dispatch the replacement instantly if the local guys dont have it. If they have it , they will replace no matter what. If you have a problem , lets say waiting for more than 2-3 working days, contact the Corsair guys. They will sort it out.
