cowon J3 problem

my cowon j3 is not powering up :huh: ,tried the reset button but still not powering up...
plz help...

Did the battery die out ?

Anyway, try the reset button again, you might see the Cowon logo flash, and then *hopefully* you'll be able to charge it. Happened with my iAudio yesterday.

In the morning i found that its playing some video due to alarm setting,after some time it when i tried to charge it ,its just not powering up at all...

Try the reset button two three times. Is the player being detected when you plug it in your PC. If it is being detected let it charge fully. Download's J3's newest firmware 2.10 from this link.

Extract the files in the root folder of your J3. Disconnect from PC and start the player. Wait for it to flash completely. Let me know if this solves the problem.

^ Where did you buy it from ? If a local dealer ,try returning it to him and ask him to help in RMA or else spend 100-200 bucks and send it to their Mumbai office.

Before sending it for RMA try posting the same issue in iaudiophile.net forums,you might get help .

Even if it was a case of corrupt firmware,the device should have been detected on the PC.There are issues of J3's bricking themselves within days of arriving on ABI and iaudiophile. I guess it's time to RMA it. Contact Sonu Rawat on the Lipap site. He is a nice guy and very helpful.

Meanwhile I will try and replicate the steps on my J3 and see what happens.

And the battery getting warmed up is a common issue. Mine does too.

its sahara courier and they r just refusing any claim ,don't know that the incident in the train actually happened or not
