A friend has a CM 230mm fan lying around- belonged to a HAF iirc and was bought for adding it to the modded side panel.

But not used ever as he is rarely at home now and his desktop lies packed up. :)

it has coolant inside it, i suppose which is added to distilled water.

in anycase, you need not worry about that for atleast 2yrs from date of manufacturing as its lifetime shall be that long as per corsair (i think)

It's a sealed system- ready to use- not supposed to open (will void warranty and maybe functionality too).

And really doesn't matter what they use as long as it works ok. :)
