CPU Eat 'n' Cool tries to cool the CPU when it is busy. It's different from others cooling programs because CPU Eat 'n' Cool tries to slow down CPU intensive tasks to execute the HLT instructions. Now it's more stable and supports HT enabled CPUs.

Doesnt that defeat the very logic behind HLT cooling? i.e. Cooling the cpu when its not in use and no perfomance loss when cpu is being actively utilized?
