CPU/Mobo CPU test

Which test can I run to confirm that a CPU doesnt have any issues, within an hour ?
Also, please advise the maximum and temp, I should see on a E8400 CPU.

Havent got it yet, will get this evening or tomorrow. want to ensure its all fine before paying.
I have replied on Orthos all the time, but what do the masses use ?
 
Do it and then post results, that would be a better approach. Under 70 degrees and you won't damage anything.
I suggest OCCT.
