I had Winmx and that went down so I was thinking about trying Limewire but I heard that crashes your computer, Is tht true? If so is their another program to try?

I am looking for a program that has no spyware or crashes computers.
 
If you want traditional P2P then use eDonkey. Although the program's been asked to shut shop it's still running seamlessly so use it while it works. But edonkey does come with spyware, though you're given the option to install it. So make sure you uncheck that option during installation.
 
I tend to stay away from limewire...i used it for over an year b4 it started crashing..i mean..real badly.
Try ARES.

what is your rating 1 being poor and 10 being great to be using?

ares is a good program...will give it an 8:bleh:
thought sometimes it just refuses to connect.
havent used edonkey..but emule sucked:bleh:
 
But Isn't their a program that always is eay to connect out there?

and I am not sure but does Ares have Spyware?
