ASIO + foobar2000 = tons of distortion using soundstorm..

dunno why...the sound is fine, suddenly distortions appear..(khaaa kharr sounds ) close player, start again, gone. after sometime, distortion.

Increase the buffer size from the ASIO4ALL control panel settings to 512 for the out, and increase the buffer size from ASIO plugin settings from foobar to around 10.
Should work.

^^ If i use ASIO4ALL in the foobar ASIO output, no song plays...some weird error that this format is unsupported..so forced to use NVASIO...i'll give it a shot

I was talking about ASIO and ASIO plugin in foobar. All I said is that asio plugin works fine on audigy cards. Whats wrong with that? :S

Wow ! Finally I am happy I didn't buy an Audigy card

These things should complement my Zalman 5.1 Headphones well and my uncle's dropping in from the States around Christmas, perfect time to buy it
