i dont think tht should be any problem...instead of going round and round..u go down on the vertical scroll

i aint talking about ease of use ...

prefer the H10's vertical thing to me nano that way .... easier, better once you get used to it.

i meant speed of scrolling ...

Actually, i hear the iRiver's vertical pad was too long?
The vision:m's is smaller than that and just perfect. Many reviews say it is improved from previous models of mp3 players having such pads..

Is scrolling from say A-T quick ? Is there any acceleration on the scroll pad ?

First, you can access the songs basd on artists, albums, genres, all tracks, etc..
when you go to the list, there is a small column on the right which lists all the alphabets. so you can go from A to T without having to go thro all the other (say) artists in between!!! VERY useful indeed.
Acceleration and speed of the scroll pad is great once you get the hang of it.
The only problem i have is that fast forwarding videos(like 2 hour movies) is slightly irritating coz acceleration has to build up. But i understand this has to be there because of the length of the video..
