@webguptalaura's one of the best cars to be owned .. agreed, its little on the higher side, but pl, if u're able to buy a 19L car, dont thing you would care much about the maintenance costs..
to be honest, i find it even better than the idiotic bmw 3 series !! and more comfortable than the 5 series
@webgupta
I must not say, you are comparing bmw 3 series with laura. hatts of to you...I was confused the same way OP is and I went with BMW 320D corp edition which I got for 26 lakhs 2 yrs ago and im quite happy with the maintenance mileage etc everything...although yes it isn't comfortable etc backseat, but please request do you even know the engine performance difference..
I own bmw320d , merc c class komp , a6 2.0 tdi new model.
...
OP first decide between petrol or diesel, than between sedan or suv. Narrow down your choices.
ps: I really like the new renault sedan too. Cant recollect the name though. Fluence?
The TSI laura is the best car in that segment no doubt.It has a turbo charged petrol engine and can smoke cruze anyday.Faster 1 second quicker than the cruze to the 100 kmph mark.Top speed also a lot more than the cruze.The cruze is more economical as it is a diesel and has loads of features like sun-roof,6 cd changer,key less entry,cruise control.cruze has cramped rear space. not so good mileage for a diesel. Laura is good in its TSI (petrol) version if you have faith in skoda that is.jetta has some identity crisis on the front though![]()
