Crysis Gets "The" Date....

Come to think of it i upgraded to C2D 6400 last year September anticipating this game... Its will be almost a year since i would have upgraded... Glad that i didnt upgrade to quad core or the GPU since then... Hopefully the present config will give me 40+ FPS @ 1024... But considering its crytek developing the game i have my doubts...

I think i am gonna invest in this game. I usually play my games from backup iso copies I have lying around :P... but this seems like a good investment... particularly with G0 Q6600 coming :P :)

y do you have your doubts with crytek. if farcry is anything to go by, this engine will be great & very customizable & will work easily on any card available in the market.

for this game i dont think a quad core is needed. it will work fine on current c2d's. only thing that needs to be good to play game @ high quality is the gfx card now :)

yup you are right as i crunch for WCG while gaming nowadays :D

so a C2D is more than enough :ohyeah:

RAM & GPU are the two most crucial & most important things needed for gaming IMHO :)

Crytek never committed to a date until now... iirc, their response to "when" was always "when it's ready!".
 
Crytek wants to combine all z p0wa of t3h at3 at3 zh3r0 zh3r0 g33 t33 xxx users who register simultaneously on 9/11 and crunch the Crytek code on their server unknowingly, to help them build the real-life Crytek army and take control of the world :|
 
I hav got 7900GTX512 mb and my rig is displayed below ... will the game work in my sys ? i m mostly worried about my proc.....if i need an upgrade what shall i upgrade or will my 7900GTX will take care of this problem ???????????

another crysis on 9/11! lol!

i think it would just be looked at as another launch date and wouldnt cause much of a fuss.
