guys, I am going to burn 2 files, source materials.gcf and source models.gcf on a DVD and give it to him.... you think that will work??

I cant give him the 3rd CD as I have the whole HL2 copy and not only CSS...

ok.... what if I give him all the files in the Steamapps folder?

But I have only 14 fgiles ..... you have 27!!! I dont have CZ installed..... Only Source

oh CRAP!!! It is 5.xx GB big.....

@Killeraim ---- Dude, you owe me 60(for 2 DVDs) and then 20 or so for shipping........ :P

Nikhil instead of copying the .gcf files directly, just make a backup of css and burn it on a dvd. Its about 3 GB i think and u'll have to use just one dvd.

what do you think I did lol :P

Dont use the damned Backup! Its pathetic.

Just arrange the Files properly and give him.

Nikhil, i have so many files since, have CZ, CS1.6, DOD:S, HL2, Lost coast, hl1, hl1 blue shift, sin episodes preloaded, um.. hl2 lost coast, not to mention cs source.

Heres another screenie :P.

tht would be best i guess, but i still dont get y he needs the CD to update Steam :S if the game isnt installed i mentioned him isobuster..

yeh.jaden will try isobuster.im kinda busy rite now.btw, how am i spsed to guide it to the location??dyu mean virtual drive??live daemon tool??

no virtual drives needed for isobuster...just insert ur Hl cd 3 in the drive, isobuster will just read ur Hl cd 3 and will display the data section wise just select the red coloured labeled iso, right click on it and select extract ... will post the screenies later..
EDIT: by the guiding prrocedure i meant when u installed the hlcd2 it will ask for the next cd at tht time u can guide it to the HDD location of hl cd-3 :) isobuster only extracts the data from CD if the normal procedures fail

EDIT 2: added scrrenies

Hope this helps... :)
