Anyone here followed "the rock bottom hour" hosted by atin dasgupta on 107.1 FM at 11pm? He played this track the day it was released in the US which was a recognizable feat back in the day.
This was back in 2000 when masaala radio stations didn't exist. And nobody listened to the radio except for a few cults made up of college students. Back when it was ok to play ICP's fu@k the world or have a hour long special on godsmack or system of a down without worrying about getting calls on profanity in lyrics. Back when it was possible to say the hindi gaali which starts from the letter "C". He eventually got suspended though. But not before rocking the radio waves for full 4-5 yrs.
Just reminding everyone how rebellious mumbai radio was back in the day. And 107.1 FM hosted from mumbai was broadcast throughout india.
