ACS was established in 1994 as a company dedicated to hearing conservation and the manufacture of custom-fit products for hearing protection. Following the introduction of the world renowned ER-Series hearing protectors designed specifically for musicians and it's first in-ear monitor, the T3, ACS rapidly built a reputation for itself amongst musicians and music lovers alike.

ACS has continued to refine its world-beating product range with its own certification of its ER build giving it the flattest response of any earplug worldwide and the introduction of the T2 Dual Driver In-Ear Monitor which has become the mainstay of many performing musicians that demand the best in clarity as well as isolation.

Interested audiophiles contact us by PM / mail for more information :).

Knowing that these can be locally arranged through you now , i am reading and reading more and more about customs since this thread has come up on TE :bleh:

Cost is not an issue , i am willing to spend some 50k on my custom , but reading what will suit me and what will not .

It being a custom , i dont want to regret laters , that OMG , i missed reading this .

So , let me do my homework and will then revert back to you .

Thanks Gautam . Now this is gonna be real big !!

Wow ! Two custom makes ? Nice ! :)

Am sorely tempted to get the cheapest one. 11k is cheaper than getting even a used dual armature universal driver ! :P

Thank you for the appreciation guys . As of now only the above products are available. We will work out something for TF10 re-shelling in the meanwhile.

So who's buying the first customs from us ? Is it Anubhav, Brendon or will Esanthosh finally move onto the custom family .

By the way guys , I forgot to mention - I am getting a LiveWires Trips made for myself. They should be available with us in another 10 days. Some of customs audiophiles could try these or get to feel the quality of these. Mine are going to be transparent blue and red with transparent covers. This was after consultation with Uncle so that all the inner wiring and the armatures are visible.

Wow! Was thinking of picking up the dual drivers a while ago. Don't know what the current rates are but I think your prices are cheaper than the direct dollar conversion rates when you take shipping into account.

Hello everyone .We all know that customs at this pricing is truly irresistible but before everyone starts jumping onto the customs bandwagon , we would like to address some of the issues so that the whole procedure- right from the molds to international shipping etc , works out smoothly . We do not wish to take orders and hold on to for months before delivering .Also we would want our customers to get the perfect seal and fit in the first fitting itself .This is one of the reasons we ordered a pair of LiveWires for myself. So we request everyone to be a little patient about this so that we can all reap the benefits of this .

Here are some of the guidelines to be followed -

1. It would be a good idea for everyone to wait for our own first IEM casting and molding. This will us an idea regarding the time it will take as well as provide you with some impressions .

2. We will have a form sent out to all interested members, which will ensure the type of colour, extra cable requirements and finish required.

3. The ear impression needs to be taken to the specification that will be send to the customer. The pictures and other details will be soon posted. The ear wax needs to be cleaned prior to the impression. The mouth should be open about 1 inches.

4. The impression should be obtained from a certified audiologist. The names will be based out of cities. As of now, only members who are based out of Mumbai will be scrutinized.

5. The impression should be obtained to the second bend of the ear. The whole exercise should be done meretriciously to obtain a very good seal and sound isolation. Failure to observe will cause for recasting and remoulding of the Custom IEMs.

WOAH ..GREAT!!

more and more brands coming in :)

now we have Unique melody, Livewires and ACS here in india.

I would love to see more brands here.

Finally after a long anticipation. The Live Wire has completed the Trips. We also have received the inner ear samples with second bend impressions. The Customs would be with us from Monday onwards. Thanks for the long patience. :)

Looking forward to more updates.

Any recommended audiologists down south?

And do you offer custom ear sleeves from ACS as well?

Sure stay tuned! It shall be an endeavor from Pristine Note to keep the prices low, so that customs are not beyond reach for some if not most. The big thing is the numbers, if we have good numbers we can always bargain hard for the prices. My sample of the Ear Impressions are unicolour, this makes contour difficult to discern. So we will have to be a bit innovative to get the pictures. Give me some time Eswar, I will shortlist couple of audiologist. I may not have one in Coimbatore, may be Bangalore. Could you PM me some in and around your town? Do we have any ENT Surgeons amongst us? A very close friend of mine is in Delhi. He has promised to help me sort out the audiologist.

As you could (when I post them) see from the pictures, how important it is to have the second bend of ear clearly marked. You could also be able to see how the custom cups are designed over the impressions.

Yes we would certainly offer you the custom ear sleeves from the ACS as well.

I am dying of anticipation. :).

It took me a while to get these. I was told that there has been some delay with the Customs. However after my intervention, it took me a week to get them. There was now an another problem, I had lost the impression, which I wanted to get from the manufactures. So I had to get another impression made. Impressions are the main reason for the correct seal. Hopefully the audiologist would know their work. Here it is how the impression looks like when they are removed from your ear.

The second bend of the ear can be very well be seen, just below the cushion tip, preventing the impression material, getting into ear drums. An another image.

I also understood that patience is a virtue when it comes to getting a customs IEM. Here are some more images. I will keep updating the thread.

^ Woah :O They look amazing Gautam. I guess they sound equally amazing.Do give us some impressions or an idea about the sound-signature. Already read some really impressive reviews of the Livewires trips on head-fi which compares them to some of the best customs in the world from JH/UE costing 3-4 times its price ! After hearing Bennys impression on these , I am more keen on trying them out and buy them to replace the TF10s .

Will drop down at Pristine Note office soon to check these out ! :D

Sorry for the bad pun but I had to say it 'Customs were late because they were delayed at Customs' :ashamed:

Though they look really nice. I hope the fit is perfect and don't require them to be sent back for refitting. Eagerly awaiting sound impressions. :)

So which one of you is gifting me the IEM ,you need a reason to gift my birthday is coming up soon :P .

@Gautham impressions please :)
