I have a pack of monsoon free-center compression fittings, black (6 pcs). I have a couple of angled fittings as well. All are 3/8 inch ID and 5/8 inch OD.
I also have monsoon hardline fittings and tubing(PETG) if you want to go for rigid tubing.[DOUBLEPOST=1462591292][/DOUBLEPOST]And I have an EK GTX 780 waterblock if you are interested..

Not sure which cheap fittings you intend to buy. They start off at about $7 per piece. The base minimum you need is 6. Thats $42. Now depending on your config, you might need some angled and rotary fittings. That's about $10-$25 each. If you are serious about the loop, you need to plan maintenance. You will need to buy a fill port too(minimum). That's another $10. If you go for a valve, that's going to be $25. Good soft tubing is $25 (primochill advance LRT) and good PETG will cost $17 for about 12 feet. Do the math, easily crosses your 3k estimate.

Barrow fittings -rs 500 for 4/angled fittings 300 per peice/tubing-100rs/meter, valve-400rs
