Which forwarder would you use?
I got charged around 17% including handling and broker charges by PPOBox. Good thing was that in almost all packages I get through them customs duty is charged on the declared value. I was charged a total of 4228 including shipping for my Nexus 10, because I declared it's value as $300 and not $550 that I actually bought it for.
Let me know if you need something shipped. I have a corporate account with them, so I get better shipping rates and they never ask for any price proof documents either.

Got it through hsg as i did not have to pay tax, and shipping is cheap for many items combined... They provide 30 days storage

Welcome to the Nexus 10 club, bro.
At least with GEB, there would be no surprises related to customs. How much did it cost you. You are gonna love it. Its really light for a 10 inch tablet. I haven't switched on my laptop since I bought it. Using it as my download rig as well.

Well I didn't go for the Ativ, because firstly the guy was in US, so it would have meant double shipping costs. Secondly, it is Atom based, so it would have neither replaced my laptop, nor is it a proper tablet because Win 8 isn't exactly a true app bad OS like Android or iOS, yet.
So it would have been just a niche device for me.
The Surface Pro has really caught my eye but is obscenely expensive and would cost around 90k if I were to buy the 128GB version today. I want to wait for their app catalog to grow and for other companies to come out with cheaper alternatives and most importantly better battery life.
