I need to get an ultrasonic cleaner for work. I bevel small pieces of glass and polish them. Leaves a residue of cerium oxide and glass dust. On certain textured glass pieces, it takes a brush and considerable scrubbing to clean it. Figured an ultrasonic cleaner should do the job.
Looking up something in the 4 to 6L capacity, on amazon, i have come across this Surya brand for 13k for a 6L. Johnson 4.5L for 12k. Can't find anything about it on Google in general which worries me about warranty.
I reached out to a bunch of manufacturers I found on Google. The cheapest among them for a 4.5L is 23k. These are all made in India types with email and phone phone support. An office with an listed address.
In terms of specs and features, they are very similar. Only real difference is that the Amazon cleaners say 40 to 42kz. The manufacturers are 30 to 35khz.

I don't know if possible for your guys, but why don't you talk to your local jewelers, if you don't need it often they might do it for a small fee. I had used their service as such in the past.

I ordered the Surya brand off amazon. the price difference for a 6L was more than double. I looked up the construction of a ultrasonic cleaner and I figure that if i can fix and maintain it. Parts should be possible to get. Besides if this works well, i might end up buying a bigger one down the line with the made in India ones where its initial cost can take longer to recoup but give me peace of mind that it will run for many years.

How do you tell the difference before buying it?
Also, what i meant to ask is there anything in particular to look out for? I mean, i am not buying the literal 99/- "ultrasonic cleaner"
