Durable mouse suggestion for regular use with irregular gaming

Razer is better except the scroll wheel, busted 3 scroll wheels in 2 years -_- but they replace it promptly
Not at all, Logitech makes the best mice, there design, sensor, comfort are all very good and they have a lot of different models for a various needs. Those switches inside have a life span and they are sure to go faulty one day. As far as Razer is concerned they are not bad but there mice design is way basic and no were close to Logitech.

Picked up the Zowie EC1-C wired since wireless is twice the price and suffers from more response delay it seems. I like a big mouse for my palm grip and like the fact that it is bigger than the Deathadder v2 Pro. It also has a more ergonomic bulge for the palm and asymmetric height for the buttons for right handed use, so a well thought out design.

I never liked RGB in a mouse, so also like the more muted design and the fact that DPI, polling rate, LOD and response time using the buttons alone without any software. Lack of customization of the DPI is bit of a bummer though I am quite happy to use it at 1600 dpi.

Build quality is a lot better than Razer, but have to see how it stands the test of time, though clearing the low bar set by Logitech for durability shouldn't be hard.

Razer Cobra has been performing well for me for over a year. Before this I had the HyperX pulsefire haste which I had to RMA twice with the same issue of double clicking.

razer cobra is a very good mouse, it comes with optical switches over that the side buttons also use normal 3 pin swiches, its very repair friendly too.

I am on the opposite side of things as I was mainly using wireless on desk. Still have the Deathadder v2 Pro for wireless use with devices that I need to use a bit remotely. Otherwise, pretty happy with the wired Zowie which works with my personal as well as office laptop on my desk.

G304 with custom switches/encoder. I mentioned in another thread but EscKey folks offer customisation services as well a good selection of switches/encoders.
I second this. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of owning 3 different logitech gaming mice and all three got the double click issue in under a year. But after replacing the switches with some omron ones, those have been going strong for the last 4 years. So if you also have some logitech mice lying around then this is worth considering.
