I know the current image isn't true, but Nvidia has sucked so much that even Linus recommends AGAINST buying shitwell. Steve and Paul have always been outright critical when they sense BS, since the very beginning.
Yeah I meant other than the obvious frustration that everyone has with the pricing it is feeling like a rerun of the 30 series launch with miners and chip shortages. It's just that the AIB and Nvidia are the scalpers this time around.

I volunteer at a local trust/NGO run school and had the oppurtunity to assist small kids learn basic computers. They had conducted an exam to test kids current knowledge.
The same question was asked.
A 3ft kid's reply was
" A new xl bike launched by MSD named MS xl."

This happened more than 20 years ago, when MSD was named ambassador of TVS. Couldn't take photo/video then and we all had a good laugh.
That kid has now become a lawyer. I remember only 3 out of some 20 kids got the answer right.

This is how a LIC agent from Hyderabad made my wife to sign for 2 LIC policies that ends up paying for 20 years Rs.6500 per month each and get 18 lacs in the end for each policy. I told her not to fall for such policies but she does not listen. Her father & my father are both paying for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) for my daughter which I think is valid though.

An anecdote is that my fathers student who studied degree in his Govt. College later got employment in LIC as Manager of our Town's Office but his main source of income was from making LIC Policies which he took the help of my father & his brother both are lecturer's in 2 different Govt. Colleges. Now that guy since 2015 started 3 schools of which his 2 sons are managing them. This all development happened not because of his duty in LIC but his LIC Policies for 25 years. That's why I don't trust those policies because in the end they pay you meagre amounts but before starting of the policies they say we will get 20 lacs or 25 lacs after 20 years and we fall for it.

Endowment policies might not be a wise direction as you neither get good returns nor substantial risk coverage.

I personally prefer a combo of a Term Plan for Risk coverage and a SIP for investment.
