Well i have windows xp installed on the C drive and is my default OS.
But for some reason i wanted to install Vista on another partition on another drive...but the installtion didnt go thru...twice...

So now when i restart my pc...i get 3 option in the boot menu...first is Earlier verion of windows i.e XP....and the other 2 are Vista entries.

I have tried all that i know to get rid of this multiple boot menu...but it just doesnt seem to help...even the boot.ini file shows just one entry...
Please can some one help me get rid of the multiple boot menu...so that i can directly boot to XP when i switch my pc on!!

Thanks

Its caz you have to make that change in the Vista boot file, as your PC now points to it, and not the boot.ini in your XP. So either you completely install Vista and than make a change in the boot options of Vista (there is a program too for that). Or, you need something like bootmagic and than change your boot entries. Google around, its not that hard.
