^^ that doesn't work either... it will just come back once you stop putting nimboo on your head for a couple of days.

hi,
this thing works for me. cut the aloe veera leaves from the plant then slice it in between u will see transparent gel inside, apply it on the scalp. I do this on every sundays to keep dandruf out. Even your hairs get stronger.

As far as my experience is concerned, i found that there is no cure for dandruff. All we can do is keep it under control. So any effective non-chemical remedy will do.
I found that appying a paste of neem powder on hair for about 20-30 mins will do the trick.
But whatever u do, one has to be regular in the control therapy, else the dandruff reoccurs.

I used to face the same problem, until a few yrs ago.

Then I started applying

a. coconut/mustard oil mixed with lemon juice...every alternate week.

and

b. started applying hena along with few other things on hair....every alt week.

Results: No dandruff. Reduced hair fall. softer hair.

Mohit

Hi guy,

I think there is no permanent cure once for this after an age...

I got it in full control though, after going through strict routine I described earlier.

I went from a head full of dandruff to zero in four years. It requires you to control your food intake (reduction in oily, spicy and junk food), regular shampoo with a gentle, dry-hair shampoo, and regular massage. Oil helps, but only to lubricate the head while massaging, it doesn't actually do anything for the dandruff. A light, chemical- and additive-free oil works best for this, Vatika is a decent choice.

Oh, and a weekly head rub with curds and ground pepper, and soft water for a bath. Hard water exacerbates dandruff like there's no tomorrow. If you have oily hair and dandruff, it gets more complicated and you have to take treatment for it.
