Data environment not available in VB 6

I wanna create a data report in Visual basic 6. I searched online for the same and it required data environment. But data environment option is not available even in the designers tab in the project components. Please help...
 
Try adding the Data environment via Data view window.

Click on View->Data View Window.
In the Data view window that opens up, there is an icon to Add Data Environment to current project at the top. Clicking on that should add the data environment.
