Day Of Defeat Source 2nd Free Weekend !

Got this through steam !

DOD: Source is getting it's 2nd free weekend starting from 1:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 7th to 1:00 p.m Pacific time on July 10th. :D So everyone wanting to sample this game preload DOD :D
Yesterday we released the Summer 2006 Update for Day of Defeat: Source. Judging from the games we've had on the public servers running the new maps, Jagd and Colmar (click each to see trailers), people are having the same kind of fun we were having around the office before we released them. If you still haven't purchased Day of Defeat: Source, you'll get a chance to play the new maps in about a week, as we'll be having a second Day of Defeat: Source Free Weekend. The second free weekend will commence at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 7th, and conclude at 1:00 p.m Pacific time on July 10th. We're looking forward to seeing you all there.

anyone trying it out..i wanna know,cause I'm planning to buy day of defeat.

Uh,guys is there a seperate copy of day of defeat for sale?

Only thru steam which costs arnd 20$ which is almost the same as the css pack which comes with css, dod, and hl2dm.
 
what exactly do they mean by free weekend?? you can try the game for free?? If so, how long?? 1 week, 2 weeks??

yep download steam client, create a steam id ! Preload DOD source and you are good to go once the free period starts. :)
 
The game's not bad but most of the servers having low ping are empty most of the time.

The thing I hate abt in day of defeat would be the recoil.
