Hi Vikram name of the guy which we are looking for is "Balaji D.G" as per the Bank a/c's. Also one of the address registered to his a/c is for Accenture b'lore. So please see if you can help.

I have got the phone today. Although, according to the bill, it's not 10 days old as described by "ironman" but it looks like new and doesn't seem to be used much. I haven't tested the functioning of the phone and will transfer the remainder of the amount to lethal after doing the same.

I have transferred the amount to lethal. (The part that I was supposed to transfer him). He is hoping that ironman will transfer him the remaining amount by monday.

Just noticed something!!!!!! This is really out of the world. I was thinking why i could not recognize the name Ironman, even though i have dealt with that person. That is because I did not deal with the Ironman character, I dealt with the Redcross character!!!!!!!

I was going through my market feedbacks today and realized that though i have taken a laptop from him, I dont have his name in my feedbacks and i distinctly remembered giving him a positive inspite of the paint issue.When i saw that it was redcross, I remembered the other redcross feedbacks in the Market and wow!!!!! The moderators should probably run an ip check and see how many member names are created by him
 
:O are you sure Ironman = Redcross?? I thought Ironman was from Mysore and Redcross from Bangalore? Whats going on here? :S
Can someone who has bought stuff from redcross post his complete details please?
 
I am sure. if you look at my market ratings, I have got feedback from Redcross not ironman, and as i said, i know the guy out of the laptop deal, and the laptop deal is done by Redcross. so Ironman = Redcross. As i said, of the mods do ipscan, they should be able to tell us that it is the same person

So are these ONE person with split personality? or a cyber cafe/ roomie scenario?

Would expecting a ban on these ID's be correct?
 
I think Enough is Enough now.

Here's how we can STOP having any such episodes on TE

Either TE needs to have an Escrow A/c or The buyer and seller needs to appoint an escrow person in between. (Escrow is like EBAY keeping the money till buyer gets the product)

I know this will be a long process but it will be 100% safe for both Buyers and Sellers.

Once this is done no more restrictions no more spamming nothing will happen and i think everyone will be happy atleast there won't be conman's like these anymore coming to TE and troubling members here.

So you mean, that Ironman's IP matched the above handle IDs' IPs "x" number of times..? If so, then Redcross and Ironman are the same. Sad.

Holy $hit. As a buyer, this is completely scary stuff. And I think here we have a case of not necessarily a well planned fraud, considering folks had brought from the 'alter ego's earlier; it's more of a good seller gone greedy deal. As stated to lethal and kniwor, he really might have lost his job, and might be resorting to all this, nevertheless things like these are a big setback when it comes to making the very concept of buying online worthwhile. Not atleast until both the buyer and the seller are assured of a near fool proof system.

I am not sure if TE can really resort to an escrow like scenario, as that might possibly involve a lot of tax and legal issues.

PS: Feels good to know that people still have the desire to help out others, even if they haven't ever met them in person. I was getting the feeling that noone cares for anyone nowadays. Glad I was wrong, even if partially.
 
I am sad :( to see this staff. One person under several fake ids, this is something to think about.
Being fron NE i cant take part in thir fraud hunt, i can only hope the lethal gets his money back. And members like ironman/redcross must be busted.

Is it possible for the admin/mod to check the ip of newly registered members, so that if anyone tries to register with different ids he can busted.
