Forum Feedback Dealer's previously removed, reinstated ?

Ok after creating a whole lot of problems, and issues, a dealer(amarbir) was removed(dont tell us he resigned), and now suddenly reinstated with out a word?
Why?

Now if people show their displeasure for the same, their posts are deleted with out even informing? Why such an attitude towards members?
Its not as if deliberate attempts are being made to tarnish his image? He carved out this image himself!!!

Even after going, he published crap abt TE on his website, and tried to start a "competing" forum..

I wonder how much of his shit members are to take, before he is finally restricted from trading on TE... ? He gives a bad name to forums, we recommend friends and acquaintances to buy from TE dealers and TE accepts such dealers with tainted track records, in the end we are left with complaining people whom we recommend TE dealers based on support from TE mods !!

I don't know if he has been reinstated or not. But i sure hate his attitude towards forum members and his stupid use of caps in the first letter of every word. Also i don't think TE is now in a scenario where it is not able to pay off its monthly bills. They are earning more than enough from forum through ADs etc. Mods are there for free.

So why the hell do we need to have these useless dealers, who create more problems than solutions for forum members.

Who are more important TE members or dealers. I for one am ready to pay a yearly membership if TE is having problems with funds ...not for hosting/BW/server costs I know but for ploughing back to the community via contests etc. or may be to better protect us from something like the recent hacking attempts.

I dont want that plz...please come out with the right and genuine reasons. Most of us are mature enough and doing well so all mods/admins or member should think of the long term and more of the ire of the members ! We wanted to reduce Market/Deals section as tech was really getting low...now we get another dealer. Or are we trying to get acquired by venture capitalists for becoming the slickdeals of India ! We all should know ahead

Well before coming back on the forum as a dealer we were constantly bombarded with the lynx ads on the homepage.
Also i remember some of the members saying that on the forum that he will get more customers if he becomes a dealer again rather than putting his ads on TE.
Guess that made him change his/mods mind.

Imho, Amarbir is an honest dealer. AFAIK he is the one of the few dealers here at TE that issues a proper VAT paid bill and follows the proper Govt protocols. For this I respect the man.

But hey his attitude blows! He works like our govt takes ages to move anything!
The last time I ordered my hard drive it took 14 days to reach me!

I hope he has changed for everybody's sake!
But I believe that now he has changed and he does indeed deserves a second chance.

Also the more dealers we have here the better it is for us members. Earlier we had to depend on 1-2 dealers here at TE. Who started acting like stuck up pr|cks thinking they can do whatver they wanted and we had no choice but to buy from them. I had to pm a dealer 4 times for him to reply. How cool is that??

Now we get to pick whom we want to buy from.

The alleged "bad experience" Mr. Nash had with Amarbir does not warrant his removal, and I do not know why Amarbir hasnt yet posted the chat transcripts between him and nash and how after the whole scenario he tried to harass Amarbir by using different names on his Online live support.

His policy has now changed as he will now only be selling stuff he has in stock and will not organize group orders. I am not an "Amarbir supporter" of any sorts, but things shouldn't be blown out of proportion.

Give the guy a chance, if someone wants to improve let him and help him out in doing so rather then ridiculing him time and again for past deeds.

I dunno wat more to say, just that this is what happens to most of his customers, the more unlucky ones get dragged across months..

Trust me given a choice no dealer here would give a vat bill, he does that cause there's a big daddy called the Income Tax Dept sitting on his head..whe the rest of the dealers acquire the same amt of volume , they will have to start doing the same..

It depends on how low your definition of cheating is, doesnt it?

For me and people i know, not delivering on promises is cheating...

There's delay and then there's deliberately misleading people into ordering..

He has been given first, second and third chances, not everything needs to be labeled/spelled out..Some times things are very apparent, one must take cue and act..

There are so many threads on TE showing how people have been harassed, misled and demeaned by him, just because he's a dealer doesnt give him the right to do something like this..

And why not look at everything with a single focus, why break things up? Oh he has a good stock of goods but works like a govt department!! He doesnt cheat, just that he sends months later than what he promised!!

I mean how low can out standards fall?

He hasnt done anything this time? Really? So we wait till he does something, AGAIN, and then the whole hoopla starts again? Aren't we tired of it already?

He isnt going to stop dealing on TE if he isnt a dealer here, people can still order from him..No one intends to harm his business..

Here its abt larger things, like the image of TE, like the belief of people in TE's trading system..

TE dealers is a brand in itself, and already its lost quite a bit of its credibility!!!

I implore mods to see reason, its their decision, backtracking will only prove that they care abt TE's reputation...

Yes, and he has a label on him showing how he can harass customers, and has a proven track record of doing so?

How do people who just registered on TE, come to know this? We recommend people to buy from TE dealers and to give them preference even above Ebay, and then the mods go on and bring someone like him back?

That was never his intention, try not to put a different meaning to words, please..

He has got enough chances dude!! How many chances are enough to show that a person cant hold the standards TE and members expects of him?

Do we have to wait again till an innocent member falls prey to his antics again? That too just cause he says he has changed?

All of this is a lot to ask off members, for someone who cant even formally apologize for his mistakes, cant even back his accusations with proof and demeans members and talks like shit with them, doesnt hold true on promises, and for whom cheating only means to abscond with money!!

Yes saar since now u check out the posts here...you can say that..do you even know almost 6-7 people had their money stuck with him for more than a month ! There was time when u completely missed all that action being MIA to the online TE world ...and ya I for one got a fake EP 630(in name of an OEM one)....never raised a furor on the same except telling him that it is fake. I understand he has come a long way and is a big power now in portable audio sector but problem is onece things get bigger and better for him we will get dumped like a step child. Take my word for it...I will have the chance to quote surely 1 yr down the line

And ya my last thing on the post. If you think this is only his 2nd chance....I have nothing more to tell...we all forgot how he thrashes other posts and defends himself even he is totally wrong. Do we forget those huge threads....dont we remember anything ....Great then....welcome to Amarbir again and ya I was one of the few members who supported him in a big way in those first few GOs...remember WD 640GB GO ! Problem is if members get better and cheaper deals they are ready to excuse some sore points...so that is the way we will go in future

Here is the status :

1. KMD ---- 90% time MIA ....no repsonse nothing. And ya he started with a huge mirage to us that he will import to us ..launch todphod ...blah blah blah....in the end just delays....more delays and endless frustration. TE got the monthly fees but what did the new members get who regsitered here to buy from him only to burn their hands. Is that what we want to project

2. BGS ---- Same story....long story....no action

3. TheItwares---- Just too busy to even respond to PMs...still better of the lot though TE is like a stepchild/low margin category for him

4. Mediahome ---- Member becoming dealer after persuasion that his GOs are not non-profit .....MIA most of the time....no response to PM....may be its only a side-job for the him.

5. Phoenix --- The best of the lot according to me and who has still stuck to his genuineness. Genuinely helped others....but he has limited his activity here to almost nil as he is handling much much bigger things

6. Lynx ---- You all know.....even thinkdigit or blog scene feedbacks are so bad ...just for one thing....his attitude and delays !

Other like Prashant/dvdstoredelhi and others are quite new and we dont have much track on them

May be still we will keep adding dealers as we members will have few sore deals which is only a small point considering we get the best prices and deals in India.

Atleast he is not non-responsive and always gives a bill unlike some. In nash's case - I frankly do not understand why all the members were supporting him so much..its gives a sense of deliberate anti-amarbir propaganda being carried out. :no:

I have given all the justifications asked from me on the things said by me. Im being neutral on this and not taking anybody's side. Im just saying that he has a new policy now and that we should be supportive, I never said that he is innocent and has done nothing wrong in the past. And I am not aware of any abusing done by him, if this indeed is true then its very unfortunate.
