i want to purchase a gpu for my pc and i have found that i also need a good psu..
i am opting for amd 6850 .but i want to know the psu which is just sufficient for this card.(that does not means i will compromise on quality)
so please suggest me a good psu in the range of 3000 inr. my config is given below
core 2 duo 7200
3 gb ram ddr2
19 inches lcd (native resolution of 1440*something)
2 hard drives of capacity 1.5 tb

note- i am not going to overclock the gpu never:hap5:

Get a Corsair VX450 ~ 3.5k :)
Get the Corsair VX 550 W ~4.5 K ( Bangalore price ) ~ gives you more room for upgrading later like extra HDD and such, but if budget does not permit minimum get the VX 450, hope this helped :)

Dude, Go for the Vx 450.. its a little over your budget, but definitely worth it... else go for the above silverstone one, its 80 plus certified too...

C2D E7200???

Corsair CX400 get it, no point in spending too much, HD6850 just a little more than HD5770 power consumption, and E7200 is like 45W Athlon II X2
