Hi guys, im not a great audiophile but now a days i really like to hook my IEM a lot than the big speakers.
My budget is 12k for on ear headphone and a DAC.

My concern is Comfort(can listen to long hours without any headace), isolation, small(can be small, so that i can wear in pubile whereas my AD300 makes my head goo-goo) and clarify with good base(this is very important).

Im using the AD300 which has a great comfort but big and long wires makes sick. the base is not that great but can be acceptable.
And the M4 feels so flat and cant listen to long hours and isolation good. The comply tips is comfortable but the clarity and bass is not ok.
Too all, my source is iPhone and without DAC. So, i need a great DAC to coupe with the future beast.

i mostly listen to Evanescence, Avril, Ke$ha, Bryan Adams, Blue, HIM, FOB, Rasmus, BSB, Akon, Tatu, LP, cascada and so on. Im not a metal rock type to blow my head.
Suggestions are more welcome and if someone need to sell, pm me.

Get a AudioTechnica M50 and a Fiio E17. They should suit your taste of music. You'll get more than enough bass ;)
Source and damages sir and im happy to buy locally(Bangalore) rather than waiting for product to arrive.
and does it satisfy my requirement like comfort, small and more details with a great bass.

Can someone put some light on it guys.
Read various reviews. Btw, why it's price was 10k and some sites 8k for m50. Any source?
What's will we landing cost of e17 if I ship it to India.

I think the E17 and the M50 makes for a deadly portable headphone setup. They're pretty comfortably, the sound is not really detailed but is plenty fun ;)

Budget wise I think the m50 should be around 8k and same for the E17. FiiO E17 Alpen DAC & Headphone Amplifier + Free Brainwavz Beta + Free Overnight Fedex to select destinations - Audio Amps & DAC - Headphones & Amps

Thanks I decided to go with your idea. Btw, how's the bass and isolation.
But where I source the m50 for 8k.

And thanks @esanthosh for helping me and @bennysachdev for a sweet setup.

M50 you can pick up from ebay or #pristinenote here at TE dealers section. The bass is really good for the price. With the E17 you can control the treble/bass and gain and it works pretty good. Sometimes i listen to deadmau5 on full bass from my E17 to my Senn hd25-1 II on high gain and still the bass doesn't crackle. It makes my head vibrate though. lol

To be honest, I feel jealous by reading your signature.
Your passion towards sound.

As a former M50 and Fischer FA-011 owner, I'd suggest you take a look at the 011 as well, great set of cans for the price.........but the dollar rate ruins it a bit.

it seems to be a rare can, i nowhere found it available. All are OOS.

Right now, i planned to get the E17 first. Then the cans.
any more details regarding the Fischer.
and thanks for the suggestion.

Review - REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!

I'd put them in the same tier as the M50 but personally liked them better. There is the hassle of international shipping + customs and the high dollar rate.

The only reason for you to consider these would be if you like the signature the review describes and if it works out cheaper than the m50. But with a DAC/AMP I feel this will scale better than the M50 and you're getting the E17.

Its one of my passions. Very soon the day will come when I will sell off everything and just keep one can and one iem and move to something else like speakers or something completely unrelated like building a custom bike. Hope you like whichever headphone you buy :) I haven't heard the Fischer 011 but I trust ritvik's recommendations.

People periodically needs to learn/change their hobbies.
if you are into selling these beauties, im the first in the line.
nowadays, i really love to play songs thru my can rather than speakers.

@To All,
can anyone give rating for
M50 vs FA-011 vs Grado 225i vs Denon 1100 vs ATH AD700

@Brendon has thread in the audio section giving comparisons between m50, sr225i, d5k and his hd650. I hope that would help.
