Its a kickass ups. I put a new battery in my old apc recently and its working just fine.

The Bijli is a legend. I loved it. The best cabinet in basic range during its time. I think it can be modded even now to make for a cool retro build.

You can find battery from local store. Any store that sells inverter battery should also have ups battery. 7.2 Ah battery cost around 700-850. 9Ah - 900 ₹. You can get discount (maybe 200) for giving your old battery its good environment as lead is reused.

Battery is available everywhere, i also replaced the battery on this ups with a Exide powersafe 7ah but have to cut the plastic casing inside to fit a regular 7 AH battery as the APC stock battery is smaller in size. I bought the battery from amazon, its available easily at any battery store.
