Deeda Pi Phone really is an iPhone killer

The phrase "iPhone killer" is used all too often at the moment but in this case it seems to be justified. The deeda Pi phone has one of the best interfaces I have ever seen on a mobile phone, iPhone included.

The demonstration video of this handset is very, very slick and the social networking features seem pretty cool as well.

Apparently deeda has patents pending since 2005. Also the Open source development platform means you can legally customise it as much as you like.

Me the third to ask the same And Apple being threaten by the word killer several many times remember Zune.. But I don't believe so called didi deeda whatsoever it is will give any comp. to apple. Apple is now for overall product and this looks horrible :O

You never know, they can realeased in some other way too like it may happen some big company like I-mate, HTC, etc may choose it as OEM and they release it under thier own brand name..

A worthy effort to trump the i-phone maybe but any la-dee-da company can't just displace Apple when it comes to brand value.

Apple has consistently produced quality products albeit with their proprietary interfaces thrown in. IMO, google only can offer competition to the i-phone as the first hurdle will be the consumer's perception of of the brand.

Samsung, LG and the likes will lose out mainly on two things, 1) the fact that they have established themselves as el cheapo brands and 2) the fact that they have produced crappy products many times to live up to that name.

@hitman: maybe if big brands like HTC etc adopt it, then it may sell, but even then it wont outsell an iphone
