defective DVD with Digit April issue

well i guess this thread came up too late for me.........i bought the dvd and am having the same probs. One more thing that i have been noticing for the past 3-4 issues is that the DVD is never held in its place. I know the packaging looks nice but whats the use if they cant put the dvd inside properly. When i got my dvd this month i saw scratches all over the dvd. I guess the CHIP method of packaging there dvds is far better.

yes, agreed wiith doom(g)

and chip as 1 gb extra space

5 days past, no reply yet

except
"booohoo, dont email editor"
"boohoo, u want ur dvd"
"boohoo, dont paste ur letters"
"boohoo, you are unlucky 300"
"boohoo, i ll look into it"

thats summs up the replies from the digit "professionals"

My copy too came with the DVD bouncing all over the box and it was scratched up too.

I called Marshall S who is the incharge of Digit Help! at Bangalore. I told him the problem of DVD and he told me that he will verify the DVD & send to me. I recived it today and the DVD is not working! How Idiots are Team Digit! They simply lost courier for a faulty DVD!

Are all the dvds that went out to the book stalls bad? Did anyone on this forum get a working DVD? And did anyone manage to get a replacement? If all the dvds had the same problem, then this is a serious error on part of their qa department. This means that before digit sends the magazines out they dont even care to take a look at it.

1) no

2) no

3) yeh, =)) not working again

4) thats what i am trying to say, and raabo says we are unlucky 300

5) more than that, that means, none of the employees bother to buy or use the dvd

who's Raabo, and what's this BS about unlucky 300, i would rather put the no as 30K (if at all digit has a circulation figure that high)

Well, I will send in an email using a fake patron code.
What is it by the way? Is it printed on the mag somewhere (will get it from library)?
