PC Peripherals Dell 2311H with Airtel DTH

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to know if its possible to connect the Airtel STB with a Dell U2311H

For the Video I am planning to connect the HDMI out from the STB to the Display port using the below cable ( I would appreciate if you could click on the below link to confirm its the right cable).

Now the question remains for the audio ? I have a pair of Creative 2.1's. Is it possible to connect these to the STB ?

That's an expensive cable! Why not get a HDMI to DVI cable instead? That should be a lot cheaper. (If you have a GPU which was bought recently, it should have a display port out. Connect your PC to the LCD via the display port cable.)

Yes you can connect your 2.1 speakers but in all probability will require the 2-RCA to TRS converter/cable since STBs do not come with a 3.5mm jack.

Chuck that cable. Even that looks expensive!

Get this converter and use your DVI cable with it - DVI-I Female to HDMI Male Adapter Converter 4 HDTV | eBay

And yes that is the right audio cable.

That shouldn't be a problem with the converter. Unplug the cable and see it yourself.
